Craftsmanship First
We build the way we’d build for our own families — square, level, and made to last decades, not seasons.
Home / About
Our StoryFor more than fifteen years we’ve been turning blueprints into buildings — first in the boroughs, now from our home on East Main Street in Middletown, New York.
15+ Years On SiteOak & Iron Construction started where there was no room for shortcuts: dense Brooklyn lots, demanding inspections, and clients who expected the work to be flawless and on time.
That environment shaped how we build. When we moved our headquarters to Middletown, we brought the same exacting standards with us — the planning, the project management, and the finish-level detail — and applied them to the homes and renovations of the Hudson Valley.
Today, Oak & Iron is a design-build company you can reach by name. The person who quotes your project is the person who sees it through.
Built To A StandardOur name isn’t decoration. It’s a standard we hold ourselves to on every job, in every season.

We build the way we’d build for our own families — square, level, and made to last decades, not seasons.

Clear scopes, real timelines, and straight answers — even when the honest answer isn’t the easy one.

You work directly with the people responsible for the build — no handoffs, no anonymous crews running the show.
Design-build keeps your design intent, your budget, and your schedule under a single roof — so nothing falls through the cracks between “the designer” and “the builder.”
We sit down with you, walk the space, and listen — to the vision, the constraints, and the budget that has to make it real.
We translate the idea into drawings and a transparent, line-by-line estimate so you know exactly what you’re investing in.
We handle approvals, scheduling, and sequencing so the build runs in the right order with the right people.
Our crews execute with regular updates and a clean site, finishing to the detail level that defines an Oak & Iron project.
We walk every inch with you at completion and stand behind the work long after the last tool leaves.
Whether it’s a full custom build or a single room done right, we’d be glad to hear what you have in mind.
